Monday

My first Art Lot guest of 2011 is novelist Loretta Holmes, whose first book Between the Lines came out only last year…she’s certainly prolific, because she’s already sent her second manuscript off to her publishers and is now writing away on her third.

She tells why, after a successful career as a fine artist, she turned to the written art. And she gives some really good tips to would-be writers…so listen in and get inspired…

Tune in tomorrow Tuesday January 11 at 4pm!

107.9FM locally, or from http://www.stroudfm.co.uk/ anywhere in the world!

Lorri reads from that first novel…and reveals her favourite book of all time – you’d never guess!

And if you can’t make it tomorrow, this great interview is repeated on Sunday January 16 at 3

I received this email from Art Lot guest actor Gregor Hunt recently…which I hope he won’t mind me sharing:
Dear family, friends, colleagues, neighbours....
Lesley and I are delighted to announce the birth of our son Alistair, at 4.14am on New Year's Day 2011, at Gloucestershire Royal. He's a big lad (8lbs 14) and there was a lot of trouble to get him on stage, so in the end he had to come out of the sunroof. But he and his Mum are recovering very well.
Happy New Year!
Greg (or)

Congratulations to all three!
